Quarantine press: Why 50 Cent is machine builder, but not a drive!

50 Cent CEO skills are under question! There are persons with ability to create machine, but sometime they are not good drivers! Some people are natural drivers, but they can’t understand what kind of architect has machine, what kind of  way working it’s details: how wheels rolling, what’s takes to to move machine…

As I observed 50 Cent is founder type person. He is founder of G-Unit Records, G-Unit Books, SMS (Electronics Company), SMS promotions (boxing Company), Effen (Vodka Company), Formula 50 (Mineral Water), La Chemin Du Roi (Champagne Company). When you see this long list, first thing which come into mind is that: “wow this person is very very productive!” That’s right Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson can build many beautiful and different type of machine, He invented many useful tools and he know how to use it, but could he drive his own built machines?

Let’s start from his first creation! It was music group with name G-Unit! Every music group needs to have composer (melodist, beat-maker) member! That type of professional was always missing part of G-Unit! Group had different members different time: 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo, Young Buck, The Game, Kidd Kidd, Uncle Murda. Non of them has ability to create beats. What’s that means? It’s means that G-Unit has not his own sound. Their melodies are contributions from Eminem, Dr. Dre, Scott Stroch, Swizz Beatz, Havoc (Mobb Deep), Honorable C.N.O.T.E..  I compared other groups members abilities to G-Unit members skills. Mobb Deep staffed with Prodigy and Havoc, Havoc has beat-making skills and he created Mobb Deep sound, M.O.P staffed with Billy-Danze and Lil’ Fame, This last one knows how to create beat, The Throne staffed with Jay-Z and Kanye West, Kanye created Throne’s sound, same thing is for Wu-Tang Clan, founding member RZA creates beatz for Wu-Tang and for his memebers. It seems that those groups created natural way one member were beat-maker, second-one were lyricist. G-Unit was 50 Cent’s project, his alter-ego with slogan: “I am General 50 Cent and I am coming with my army G-Unit to occupy Hip-Hop!” Idea is good, but 50 who will constantly supply your army with food (Beats)?!

Also general 50 Cent’s strategically mistake was when he choosed complete his army with veterans not with new comers! There were such kind of situation, G-Unit Records founding members were Young (50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Young Buck, Tony Yayo, The Game) and it filled with olds (Mobb Deep, M.O.P., Uncle Murda…) by 50. And these olds were near to finish their career. Tony Yayo is most weak part of G-Unit, but this person has good ear. He start collaborating with new artist Danny Brown, also wanted to saw J. Cole in G-Unit, but 50 Cent doesn’t like new generations punk, nerd looking dress code and he refused to fill G-Unit with new blood, with new kids. Now you know, if you want to 50 sign you, go at meeting with old-fashion suit!

This events means that 50 Cent is machine builder, but he doesn’t know what direction must to take his machine.

50 Cent did smart move when he established G-Unit Books, He published The New-York Times best-seller books: “From Pieces to Weight: Once Upon a Time in Southside Queens” and “The 50th Law”. But why he didn’t published his new book “Hustle Harder, Hustle Smarter” through G-Unit Book and instead he put Amistad  logo on his new work, it’s clue!
